outlook search broken

If your Outlook search (or find, instant search, whatever you want to call it) is broken or slow you probably have a corrupt pst file or ost file. You can run scanpst.exe to fix this. My XP box has it located at : C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

And my .OST and .PST file are located

C:\Documents and Settings\user_id\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Annoying this like this can really slow your day down. If I fixed it 2 months ago when it actually broke, I would have saved a lot of time.
